Yes, I write this article. Who better than I can write a post about accidents?
My friends and training partners of the RGC will take me around even more, but then, as he's wrong! :-(
In my career as a wrestler agonist, in spite of everything, trauma, work and do not consider the various commitments over yet, I really suffered a lot of forced stop caused by a number of injuries suffered in a race that is in training ... Surely the fragility is a personal situation, not all are "resistant" in the same way, and certainly a sport, however traumatic, especially if done in the light of the competitions, such as fighting and jiu jitsu, it helps maintain a healthy body to 100%.
So far I have accumulated six or seven distortions to both ankles, three broken fingers on both feet, a dislocation sub acromion (shoulder), but a permanent partial tear of a finger of his left hand, repeated distortions to the collateral ligaments and a dislocated right knee (which led to a 4% permanent invalidity) of the left elbow. I think I've finished, apart from the broken ears.
Today, as I write, complain a strong stretching of the right quadriceps femoris and a nagging pain to the collateral ligaments in his right knee, which prevents me many movements in recent days, allowing me to fight in less than 50% of my ability.
Despite all my passion I'm not ever stop (this huge mistake, the rest should be sacrosanct) and continue to hold regular lesson to my dear students and training partners ...
What I can say right now is simply to advise anyone to train with the head, contrary to stop it as I do to heal the wounds and not do further harm to your body, and who has time for it to run sessions strength training to ease the burden on joints and ligaments, not push too hard in sparring, especially if away from the competition and follow a healthy life devoting more hours to rest and sleep: a physical tired and stressed out at greater risk of trauma.
Well ... waiting to feel better, I will continue to work on technique, thanking his friend Max to the study of jiu jitsu as ever this year voted to knowledge and learning technical and tactical ... here, this aspect can be pointed out, the focus on pure technique during the ailments that do not allow training sessions dedicated to the fight or circuits, an alternative, however.
Jiu jitsu is "evoluçao" and the increase of their baggage wrestlers must still be a key pin athlete ... Therefore, if the will is never lacking, even in the most unfortunate moments you can always continue to make good jiu jitsu.
I wish you all great workouts and progressive improvements ... as well as for those who believe, a Merry Christmas and of course a very happy 2011 full of satisfactions.
hug you all.
